...was absolutely perfect. I received a panicked email from Kit as they were deliberating on what to be done. The international media was inundating us with headlines which threatened the dream wedding in Mexico with the new terrifying disease of the day. But, despite having their destination wedding hijacked by some scary, snout-nosed influenza, I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding for the two of them. It was unpretentious, genuine, and filled with love. I realize that the previous sentence sounds really corny, but really. It was… and in the most un-corny way. One of Kit’s best friends, Callie and her mother worked wedding magic and turned their home into a gerbera daisy/Christmas light wonderland. Not being in Mexico meant more people could come and their friends and family couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the couple. It was a beautiful wedding.
